Got to do a tiny little bit today to help out with Yushu quake relief. Went with some students down to the big market and bought as much rice, water, vegetables, blankets, medicine and coats as we could afford, and sent it all down on a truck headed south.
The students were, as usual, amazingly impressive. (I was a smidge less impressed with the vendors, who were with only one exception totally unwilling to knock the price down even a few kuai.)
